Who are our cats?
We are proud to say that we specialise in caring for cats who live with any (or a combination) of the following:
Behavioural challenges - for example, shy, unpredictable, depressed, fearful of people
Litter box concerns - peeing/pooping outside the box
Seniors
Lifelong health concerns - for example, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, kidney disease, physical disability
Most of our cats are surrendered or unclaimed strays; some are younger and appear healthy, but we rarely have cats under the age of 1 and almost never, kittens. So, if you are looking for the latter, can we suggest you visit other local shelters, or consider opening your options to include an adult cat, especially as you know what you're getting in terms of temperament, health and behaviours. We also strongly believe that kittens and young cats need a cat friend, so they should be adopted in pairs, or go into a home with an existing young feline friend.
